The Society of Innovators has announced winners of the 2024 Innovators Awards. Winners will be inducted into the Society during the group’s annual luncheon on Nov. 20. Winners include Barbara Eason-Watkins, retired superintendent, Michigan City Area Schools; Food Bank of Northwest Indiana in Merrillville; ArcelorMittal Global Research and Development Center, East Chicago; Erosion & Construction Solutions, Inc. of Merrillville; Kidstuff Playsystems of Gary; Tyamo Okosun, research associate professor at the Center for Innovation through Visualization and Simulation; Kristin Burton, assistant professor of Entrepreneurship; IronWorkz Corporation of Gary; Krissy LaFlech, Business teacher at Munster High School.
