FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions:

What is our comment policy?

We have the right right to monitor comments for libel, slander, profane language and factual accuracy. Comments may be published in the print newspaper.

Can I submit a letter to the editor?

People who submit a letter to the editor or political cartoon must include their name and their class standing or position at PNW, which will be published. If you would like to write a letter to the editor and see it published in The Pioneer, email us at [email protected] or submit it via the contact form on the Contact Us page.
Letters to the editor do not reflect the thoughts or beliefs of the PNW Pioneer Editorial Board. Students and faculty at PNW are welcomed and encouraged to write letters to the editor and submit political cartoons.
Letters to the editor may be edited for length, taste and possible defamation by the copy editor and the Editorial Board. The editor-in-chief, production manager and managing editor choose whether or not to run a letter to the editor or political cartoon.
Letters to the editors are posted on our website when they run in an issue.
