A search committee is being organized to find a replacement for Bruce Berdanier, who has served as dean of the College of Engineering and Sciences since 2023. The search committee is being chaired by College of Business Dean Rachel Clapp Smith. The university will use a recruitment firm to assist in the search. The search committee hopes to do its first round of interviews with candidate around Thanksgiving. Finalist interviews are expected to take place in January. The new dean is expected to be named by February.
