Campus police reported an armed robbery that occurred in Porter Hall on Dec. 4.

According to Hammond campus police, a PNW student posted on the Internet about selling an iPhone 7. The suspect called the student and offered to buy the phone. The student and suspect met at Porter Hall. The suspect then took the phone, pushed the student down and fled the premises. The student was not seriously injured.

The investigation is still ongoing, according to the Hammond campus police.
