For Drew Johnsen, fall is all about football.
A senior in Electrical Engineering, Johnsen loves sports and is really looking forward to this season, especially football.
Pro football, and high school football, Johnsen loves them both. In fact, he plans to show up at his brother’s Highland High School football games to show support.
When he’s not watching his brother play, Johnsen plans to spend time following his favorite team The Dallas Cowboys.
He said he hopes “they will make a deep playoff run this year since they are three-and-one.”
Johnsen also looks forward to the weather. He said he likes the fact that you can sometimes experience all four seasons in a single day.
“I enjoy it and it’s almost winter,” he said. “You really never know … you can have snow every day and sometimes have snow four times in the winter … it’s so different from year to year.”
Johnsen isn’t troubled by cold weather and doesn’t plan to overdress for the season.
“I am not a guy that puts on a winter coat to walk to class,” he said. “I don’t really wear many boots … and I probably will wear more sweatpants and thicker hoodies.”
Most women you will find holding a pumpkin drink or tea from Starbucks, which are very popular around this season as well. Drew shakes his head and shrugs stating, “I am not a fan of the drinks from Starbucks or the flavors … I’m not a big pumpkin guy. “
Drew says, “I do love the idea of having a monster energy drink at times in the fall before classes as I tend to use it for energy, and it makes me feel good and ready for my day.”
