Women’s soccer coach resigns, search begins

The PNW athletic department will be conducting a national search for the position of the women’s soccer coach after the resignation of Danielle Foxhoven.

“I decided to resign for personal reasons,” Foxhoven said. “I have decided that it would be better for the program and myself to go our separate ways.”

Foxhoven said she will be continuing her coaching career in a different capacity.

Foxhoven was hired in September 2016 and coached the women’s soccer team for two seasons.

The team finished this season with a 0-15 overall record, bringing her record over the past two seasons to 5-26-1.

Foxhoven said that during her time at PNW she learned new ways of communicating and motivating people, her favorite part being working with the women on the team.

“It is such an incredible group of young women with such bright futures. They have made an impact in my life and I will never forget them,” Foxhoven said. “We had an amazing team dynamic that I will miss dearly. I can’t wait to watch them next season and see how they do.”
