PNW’s first Homecoming Extravaganza
Students competed and raced against teachers during the Homecoming Extravaganza.
PNW hosted its first ever Homecoming Extravaganza directed by the Office of Student Life Nov. 1 at the Fitness and Recreation Center. The event offered students opportunities to compete against teachers in volleyball, relay races and a game of human Hungry Hungry Hippos.
Cody Dallas, student life coordinator, said that participating in the volleyball games was enjoyable.
“It’s really a great opportunity to have fun and interact with other students,” Dallas said.
The event followed PNW volleyball’s senior night, where the Pride lost 1-3 against Trinity Christian College.
Amanda Schacht, director of Student Life, said she does not know if the event will return next year, but she’s hoping it will.
“Seeing students having fun, taking time off school and interacting with the staff was a real pleasure to watch. It would be awesome to do it again,” Schacht said.
