Eve Dobrzeniecki believes spring break should be longer.
Dobrzeniecki is a second-year Sociology major and she recognizes that students need to have time away from classes.
“Spring break is just not long enough,” said Dobrzeniecki. “My major isn’t even that hard compared to others and a week still doesn’t feel long enough.”
Juggling 16 credit hours while maintaining a full-time job at a local Target, Dobrzeniecki looks forward to the downtime.
“I’m going to need this break, not only because of the stress with school, but work too,” she said. “I work full-time and come to school twice a week, where I’m here all day.”
Dobrzeniecki hopes to spend some time relaxing at home, watching a new television series or spending time with her dachshund, Dixie.
“Most people want to go on a vacation, but I’d much rather be home,” she said. “I probably won’t be able to relax as much because I’ll still have work and will probably spend time with friends.”
“Honestly, I want to try and catch up with some schoolwork too,” she said. “I’m not going to fully clock-out, I never can.”
